So today is the major moving day. Svend was gone pretty much by Friday, but Sok, Muggle and I are not so organised. Plus, we don't want to pay for movers. What cheapskates! Yesterday a pretty large amount of packing occured, but little to no moving. It was really great to get help from HP and Sass. They will also hopefully be coming and helping this afternoon-evening. You guys ROCK!
We had some alcohol to drink so invited ppl to come over. Some did, some didn't even reply to the texts, some were surprised to hear that we were moving. It does seem to be happening pretty quickly, plus starting back at school, I've been slack about informing people who don't read blogs.
School hasn't been too bad. There are HEAPs of brand-spanking-new teachers. Last year there was only me and AA who were 1st years, plus AA is heaps older and I didn't know her at all. This year there are like 6 of them and they all went to TCol together. It's kind of changing the social dynamic of the school.
My new form class all seem small and sweet but I can already tell that there are a few who are intending to make trouble for me! ARGH! One thing that is kind of cool is that I've actually taught a fair amount of their sisters. In fact, at the "concert" one Mum came to say Hi to me and I'd taught her daughter last year in Y11 and she'd done really well. She seemed very pleased to be see me. Cool!
Anywho, I should probably either go and eat some food. I'm just waiting for Beau to finish at church so that I can move some stuff. Then I will go and do some more moving.... honest!
