I think my shoes are melting my feet off. It was so hot when I got into the car to get my lunch that my glasses steamed up instantly.
I love this weather.
I also loved the way when I got up this morning Wellington had disappeared from view. Nothing but white mist...lovely. Then seeing it burn off slowly to reveal this gorgeous summer day. *sigh*
Of course, many people were cursing the fog...
Some people are going bowling this evening but I think I'll go to the pool instead. Less chance of me aggravating my sore right shoulder and more sun worship and cooling off. Mmmmmm.
Last night Lee and I had a mini-date. We went to out favourite old haunt Satay Village Malaysian. They were packed out however so we went next door to KK Malaysian and had the same things we'd have ordered regardless. Mee Goreng is so good. Then we went for a tiki tour around Miramar looking for Weta Theatre, found it after checking the map and met Svend for Shaolin Soccer viewing. I love that movie so much.
It's so nice to see Kung Fu farce, and I am now inspired to make other characters have mystic Shaolin powers when I'm on the confession chair in Inspectres. Bwa-hah-hah!
Oh and the other night we playing My Life With Master which was kewl. There's a forge actual play thread for it, and it's cool. My character Bubble Bobble is in love with international spy and rock star Paradox, he seems to be into her too, but what with the opposing sides and other complications we'll see how that works out.
I'm sure other people did stuff too, but I'm too hot and stoopid right now to remember.
