One more sleep 'til Santa

I'm counting down til 5pm when we can shut the library and head off. I'm going straight to Alan and Rachel's with some much-anticipated gingerbread. Lee is there already, no doubt having a great time playing Apples to Apples. *Moan, whine.*

Evie and Jarratt have boughth a house! I am very happy for them and jealous of the gorgeous-ness of thier new place. Can't wait for the housewarming! Man, if only I could convince Lee that he wouldn't mind the bugs and spiders and commute we could get a lovely big house out that way too. *sigh.*

I finished Tuck, Everlasting and I reccommend it. It's lovely and a bit sad at the end. You know when you'd make a different choice to the main character and it'd be the wrong choice, but would lead to a happy exciting life? Yeah. I won't spoil it, but if it was me, I'd have made the "wrong" choice.

I am now reading The Time Traveller's Wife. I was only 11 pages in when the time travel started confusing me, but I've got the hang of it now (mostly) and handily the chapters tell you the date and the ages of the characters respectively so that makes it easy. It is a lovely lyrical lovestory. Whimsical in the best way. Awesome so far.

Music in my head: Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas, sung by Judy of course.

Tonight: visiting, socializing and then home to bake chocolate cherry torte and sleep!

I have a pimple coming through just on the end of my nose. It is making my nose extremely itchy and I keep rubbing it and soon I will be Jenni the red-nosed reindeer. Ah well, at least it's festive!

Also! Last night I got Joybelle, the Super-Awesome Fairytopia Fairy Barbie of greatness. Thanks to Chelle and Jase, she is so cool! She has rooted eyelashes and big sparkly wings that flap and body paint and tatoos. Her hair is all braided and she is just so pretty. I must get a doll stand so that she can be displayed properly.

More presents news as it comes to hand.
