but sometimes I get frightened. All those people voting for Bush. I guess they're scared and they want to back the winner...I don't understand it myself, but then I'm a Michael Moore devotee, so I wouldn't anyway.
On the whole I'm not thinking about it and I'm cheerful. I had my favourite class in today and they were nice and smiley and well behaved.
I found out this morning that I am going to be the leader for the reading program being piloted in February at my very library. Yay for me! I don't get any extra money but it's awesome experience and another feather in the CV. I'm really looking forward to that actually...kewl.
I had a lazy day yesterday, just sat on the couch after work and watched Circle of Friends (Still love it!) so my pedometer count was low for the day. However today is busy and I'm already up to 4915 steps. Plus going out tonight so that'll help the old footstep count.
Stuff and things. I did some writing last night, a story, longhand. Perhaps the start of something. I can't write with any distractions so I went into the bedroom and sat up with all the pillows on the bed. I wrote about 5 pages longhand before Lee decided he was tired and came to bed. He didn't actually do anything distracting but his presence was new and different and I didn't write any more.
Perhaps tonight?
