So REM are coming to NZ next year. Guess where they're performing?
Christchurch and New Plymouth. New Plymouth? Why?
So...tickets are $83 or $127 and that's all standing....no alcohol or deck chairs allowed at the New Plymouth one, which is a pain because my deck chair is a huge REM fan and will be mucho bummed when I break the news. I guess we could go to Chch, but my deck chair is scared of planes.
Will have to talk to Lee about the options. Both options kinda suck like...we'd have to pay for accomodation in New Plymouth but we'd have to pay to fly to Chch (I have family we can stay with, plus a Phreq who may still be down there at that point...). Also tickets are really expensive in the first place, but I do really want to see them.
