you shouldn't say nasty things to people. You shouldn't email rude things, or make disparaging comments or anything. No yelling either. Yelling is the worst.
People do though, obviously.
I wonder if it'd be better to live in Japan, where everyone is very polite.*
* Or so anime has led me to believe.
