Apocalypso or old dreams part 3

A few years back I dreamed the end of the world. It was one of those end-of-the-worlds where everyone knew it was happening and at what time.

The world was going to end at 4 in the morning. I spent my last day with my family then I went to Wellington Girls' College where my friends were having a big party. It must have been an alumni thing because there were heaps of people there, like new year's eve in Civic Square or something.

There was a huge brightly lit clock hanging off Tower block and everyone was facing it and dancing and hugging and crying and laughing. I looked up at one point and saw the moon. It was hanging very low, close in the sky and it was tarnished gold coloured with a big crack down it. That was the only part of the dream that scared me. Seeing that crack in the moon was freaky.

As it got closer to 4am I left and went on a boat with my parents. We sailed over a hill and onto the harbour. The harbour was flat and calm and Eastbourne has disappeared. We sailed off into the nothingness of the flat calm sea.
