mustelids & blackberry

I spent today checking stoat traps at the start of the Wangapeka Track, and on Sunday I got on the ferry in Wellington that morning and swam in Lake Rotoiti in the afternoon. Hard to believe it's all the same country...

I found three rats and a stoat, and saw three live stoats. The place is also full of wasps, as is Nelson Lakes National Park. Didymo has been found in the Motueka river... There's a lot to do. I may be making the transition to a more
outdoors-based lifestyle in more remote locations of NZ?

Steampunk Folktronica wiz feckin weekid. It needs a repeat screening/performance for those of you who didn't catch it first time round...
