I Want Gold

Lots of it.

I want to buy some jeans that FIT me. And some make-up from MAC. And some hair-dye. And some new Doc Martens boots. And some new socks. And some scissors. Man, I'm materialistic.

I wonder if I could buy something with gold? Probably they'd make me go to the bank and change it into notes. Do banks change notes into gold? I like the idea of gold. Lots of it.

Sock is two weeks off whelping. She has stopped eating the dog biscuits she gets as treats and started burying them in my bedclothes. She spends a lot of time building nests (also out of bedclothes, and the clean washing).

It's quite reassuring to see this behaviour, because it shows that she has strong maternal instincts - hopefully this means it will be clear sailing with the babies. It does rather make for unusual surprises when slipping into bed. Last night I found two biscuits and the much-gnawed shinbone of a cow.

Mmm. Shinbone surprise.

Today I must go get bloods done. Pointiness.

Last night I had a bizarre dream about a rabid shark. Sock and I were both in the water stabbing the shark with my SA knife. I was really concerned that someone was going to bitten by the shark and then bite Sock, making her rabid. I was running on the beach saying "but it's not her fault! that guy did it!" and no-one would take her to the vet.

Hmmmm, I'd like some gold. But you'd need a whole bunch so you could stack the bars. Oh, and a vault to keep them in. Or maybe you'd need coins so you could swim in them like Scrooge McDuck. Ok, I'm way to excited at the prospect of gold coins to swim in even though I know it would be impossible!

I would love a rabid shark. I would keep it in a swiming pool and it would be a deadly bubblebath.

Do you ever call people into your dreams?

Occasionally I try to scream to someone, but
I find I can't make a sound, my lungs are empty and my muscles are soggy cottonwool...

does that count? ;)

I actually meant introducing new characters like its a story.

I also want MAC makeup. It's nummy looking. With the shiny, and the possibility of getting a foundation pale enough...

Odd dream. Funky with the rabid shark though. Although since I have this irrational fear of sharks (it's irrational cos I don't swim in sharky places) it would probably scare the bewillikers out of me. What? Yes, of course that's a word. Why, what've you heard?

I want jeans. I need to find jeans that are non skany hipsters that are straight leg. Yeah right. Think that I'll just stick with my cargos & Fin pants. Between them they could make a pair of jeansy pants.

I always love it how in dreams instead of running, I find it faster & easier to swim thru the air. It makes so much sense at the time. I also always worry that I've screamed out loud when I have a nightmare or something but I don't think that I ever actually have.

The swimming through the air thing is truly bizarre, I've never heard of that before!

I've never had enough control over my dreams to call anyone into them consciously. People just turn up :)
