My friend Jen from Trade Me is overseas and her and her partner have an awesome travel blog. They are currently in Japan, and have uploaded heaps of pictures too.
Fairy Goth Mother is a pretty pretty site full of gothy Victorian pretty clothes and knickers. I especially want the prom dresses!
The reaction to our 48 hour film screening last night was really really positive. There were cheers and laughs in all the right places, there were appreciative responses to my reveal in my superhero costume. It couldn't really have gone down better.
Looking forward to going on holiday. Next weekend, Waitarere, oh yeah.

Also, I love the Children's book awards because of it being all a celebration of literacy and writers it's neat. It's inspiring for me as a writer and also they give you free drinks and food. This year they did a whole big woodland theme decoration extravaganza and we were provided with cupcakes decorated like toadstools on the tables. They were so good.
Honourable mentions to: clean quilts, onesies becoming a huge fad amongst my friends, photos of people during the 48 hour film competition, new friends who are awesome, old friends who I love and fragrant bath products.
