I have summer holiday wishing....work has been quiet, but I haven't been at the beach.
The days are long and really, pretty hot for Wellington. I got a little tan on my lunchbreak yesterday and the sun takes forever to set at night. I love summer. I thrive on summer.
I've been seeing lots of friends lately. That's important.
I bought 2 tshirts from Jay Jays, one is a blue Rainbow Brite shirt and the other a creamy coloured Wonder Woman one with gold foil lightning. I have cut the shoulders off that one and the collar and made it a racerback singlet. I like it. The rainbow brite one is going to be a bag I think. Once I can figure out what would make a good strengthening lining.
I am slowly reading Absolute Sandman vol 2 (up to A Game of You...) and re-reading the Little House books. I am very into reading right now, and I feel more like reading than writing. I should really do the rewriting that my novel needs since I spoke to C and know what I need to do.........but the sun is so sunny and warm and I just want to go to the beach!
