I am fund raising for my Dad's branch of the Parkinson's society. If you would like to help out I have raffle tickets and books.
Raffle tickets are $2 each or $10 for a book of 6 and the prizes are 2 nights accommodation at a Pinehaven B & B which is in Napier, not Pinehaven, a facial for 2nd prize and 3rd prize are meals for two at Paul's restaurant at Lindale. (Which is an awesome place, I had the most divine seafood chowder there yesterday.)
The book is a collection of writing by people with Parkinson's disease, mostly short stories, and features two pieces from my Dad. They are professionally bound and about 150 pages long for the low price of $10.
All proceeds go to the Parkinson's Society for information and support for people with Parkinson's. Please let me know if you want to help out by buying anything :)
