please forgive typos, I am using Lee's laptop, because it can handle Civ 4. Lee is using mine for the Final Fantasy walkthrough.
We inherited a TV on the weekend.
Lee had an illness. We don't know what it was but it was unpleasant and we didn't like it. I didn't get it, so that's good.
I have had some trouble sleeping because of daylight savings, stress etc, but last night I had the kind of awesome sleep of restfulness that just makes you smile all day. Even when people are yelling at you on the phone because they made a mistake.
I dreamed in my beautiful long sleep that I went to a second hand bookstore with my parents and selected a lovely big pile of books that were interesting and not too expensive. I went to buy them and the two men running the place started arguing about one of the books I was getting. It was a book of short stories written by various authors, but all based on stuff by P.D. James. Kind of like a covers album, but in book form.
I have never read any P.D. James, but in the dream I was really pleased to have found this book and I was really looking forward to reading it. The two men argued so much over it that they weren't going to sell it to me until they could check the references and prove one of them right.
I left the store in a huff.
The weather has been bizarre, rainy Monday, sunny and hot yesterday, extreme rain today. I am looking forward to the Sunshine Coast. I shall be disappointed if it doesn't live up to its name.
I am nearly finished Pride and Prejudice. I like it a lot now that things are happening, but I'm not sure I agree with all those reviews that call it the funniest novel ever, etc. I'm going to finish it before I go away and take Sense and Sensibility with me. It seems like it will be good holiday reading.

I'm having my birthday party on Saturday. I am getting quite excited!
