Lee has his last week of his job next week and then a week off and then he starts at Kiwibank. I resigned from the library yesterday and on the 14th of May I'm starting work at trademe.
In half an hour I'm going to see my doctor and get the test results and find out what's wrong with me. I am nervous a bit.
I am pretty sad about leaving the library, I've made a lot of friends there who I will have to make a special effort to see once I've left, but at the same time I am very pleased about having a big change in my life.
My sister's baby is ten weeks old and chubby, she's apparently violently opposed to the idea of bottle feeding.
I've switched out the framed photos from the bedroom and replaced them with different framed photos and small pieces of art we've been given over the years. It looks good, and sufficiently different to be interesting each time I look.
In the lounge I have taken down the framed colour samples from our interior designer and put up framed photos that had been languishing on surfaces around the house. It looks good too, although there's a spare hook. Might have to put up a family picture.
I am clearly into change right now.
