It's OMG so cold today. I don't know where this global warming is, we only had two weeks of actual autumn and now we're in winter.
I spent yesterday afternoon asleep on the couch under a duvet. Last night I put the heater on in the bedroom. Lee stole the sheet off me last night but Lee hates having sheet. He was so cold he wanted it!
In other news. The food show was so great, all that gourmet meat, delcious chocolate and every pesto company in the world ever meant I was a happy Jenni with a full stomach. We had the organic New Orleans style seafood gumbo we bought there last night. Lee complained that there wasn't enough seafood in it, but I pointed out that the amount of organic seafood available is probably rather low.
I did some scrapbooking last night, got a few more pages done on the wedding album so that felt good. Lost the thread I was using for Zephfi's quilt so did one square with a pale pink and then got sick of stabbing myself and stopped.
Chelle and Jase's party was a lovely low key mellow evening catching up with some folks I haven't seen in ages. Rachel was looking awesome in her renovated skirt, fishnets and big clompy boots. I was dressed for warmth not style and wished I'd been more adventurous.
I need more short skirts. Having lovely long socks means I want to be able to show them off. I go to look on trademe.
PoF: Grey stripes. I am tempted to try an outfit with as many different stripes as I can get. I can get a lot. Someone should have a Fruits fashions party.
