Last night I got home to find Lee very miserable on the couch. He's getting better but his belly is trying to kill him. I've left him sleeping in this morning, so fingers crossed for more recovering.
I heated chicken soup for dinner and we had turkish bread and I did cleaning and baked ginger crunch. I've never made ginger crunch before but we had no condesnsed milk so my ordinary choc-chip cookies were out of the question. I sampled some of the slice when it had cooled sufficiently and it is GOOD!
I will make it again soon I think, because it's very easy and relatively quick and needs no special ingredients.
I woke up this morning feeling rather energised. I probably shouldn't go to the stonesoup brunch, I should stay home and bake some more, but I do want to go so I will go briefly, then return home. Some vacuuming was done last night but no mopping.
