Bubbles bad for singing

I discovered last night that although I like the buzz, bubbly wine makes me singstar bad. Basically it makes me burp during the songs. Not good.

My bachelor party was indeed very fun. A bunch of us went to see Just Like Heaven which is predictable but very nice with it, funny and lovely and full of gorgeous shots. I was rather excited about all three previews too (Casanova, Memoirs of a Geisha and Miss Someone or other's school of dancing and charm school) I wish to see all of them. Reese is rather lovely although I didn't think much of Mark Ruffalo.

Then we headed back to Chelle's place and had nummy gourmet pizza (so much meat! I love Joe's Pizza!) and played the present stealing game. Lots of cool things were unwrapped I think everyone got something neat. Then it was lots and lots of singstar and no one could tell me off for being a mike hog because it was *my* party. ish.

I didn't singstar as well as I normally do. My voice was somehow strained before I started, so it was cracking and wailing all over but I didn't care and after a couple of hours I'd warmed up and sounded better. Even got my sister up and enjoying it which was pretty neat.

I drank Lindauer Fraise (4-5 glasses?) and one glass of regular Lindauer by accident. I got pleasantly tipsy and it wore off by midnight. Today I just feel really thirsty. Lee's worse off than I am, he had something like 10 beers and can't face eating anything today.

I didn't get all the sleep I needed, weird light sleeping full of odd comicky images. Probably because I just read Lost at Sea by Bryan Lee O'Malley which is really really good. A comic about a girl on a road trip trying to sort out her feelings and finding her soul. It sounds lame, I know but it's brilliant.

I see a nap on the horizon.
