Good things

Flying Buritto Brothers is good food. I had taquitos, tacos and churros. Only things ending in -os for me!

Unfortunately all that rich food didn't sit in my stomach so good so I have a restless night. That and we left the lounge door open which meant it didn't get too hot but the 4am and 6am trains were very loud. I'm def. closing the door tonight.

Batteries Not Included was really fun on Wednesday, it was just as cute as I remembered and the fashions were very funny. I can't get over Carlos/Bobby and his women's pyjamas fetish. Extremely Hairy Artist was such a hero!

Tomorrow I'm going to approve coloured beads for my tiara and tonight I'm nutting out the details for my bachelor party with my sister. I kind of hate calling it a hen's night but people don't tend to know what you mean if you don't.

I read a book called Best: a New Zealand Compendium produced by Awa Press which is essentially a mini-coffee table book with short essays on the Best things in New Zealand. It ranges from icecream to extreme ski runs with walks, wines and movies on the way. I liked it a lot, and I wish to travel around NZ a bit more which is something of a bonus. Except that I can't travel round NZ any time in the foreseeable future.

I am now reading Turnabout which is Young Adult sci-fi about a group of elderly people who are givin a drug that makes them get younger. It's quite cleverly done switching between the elderly at the start of the project and them as kids 80 years in the future after finding out the drug that stops the unaging has turned out to be fatal. The main girl is 15 and getting younger...It's by Margaret Haddix who wrote another timeshift novel I read a while back.
