Nyeah.
On Sunday night we watched Mad Hot Ballroom which is....Ok. I had expected a better movie somehow. I don't think they spent enough time distinguishing which kids were who and went to which school. It isn't helped by the soulless naming system they seem to have for primary schools in New York which seems to be the initials P.S. and then some numbers.
It was very much in the tradition of Spellbound but not as well made. Instead of choosing a few kids and showing their progress it was kind of a conglomerate of generic children. I managed to get a favourite all the same but a lot of the time I could only tell which kids we were with by their dance teacher.
Good point: Lovely footage of children learning to dance and being improved by what they've learned.
Bizarre moment: Teacher who kept crying. She cried because the kids in her class were getting older. Lee and I were both like "wtf? deal with it!"
Annoying thing: Made me want to learn dancing. Lee is not so keen.
Last night I washed some ponies. It was kinda fun. I conditioned their tails so they'd be smoother. It looks like Baby Tappy isn't rare so I can customise her without guilt. She just looks too much like a pig at the moment. She has a grand desitiny of snitchness that awaits her.
