Woops...last entry was my 600th!
Never mind. I guess it's just one of those landmarks that doesn't really mean much.
Got my trademe shoes today, they are completely adorable.
On the weekend I saw all my family, which was lovely. We had Yum Char on Saturday morning with Sister, her fiance, mum and dad and the Mangels. It was great to see the Mangels actually. Should make an effort to see them more.
Lee and I went shopping after that, ostensibly for a Father's Day present for Lee's father. I bought parasols. One for me and one each for my bridesmaids. I'm not sure if we'll actually use them what with Wellington wind and the hilltop wedding but y'know. They're pretty and at $8 each won't break the bank. I also bought a new book: Garth Nix's new book of short stories (Including the creature in the case Giffy!).
Saturday afternoon we saw my brother and sister-in-law and neice for a nice relaxed afternoon tea. I borrowed a roleplaying game.
Saturday night was another Rugby and pot luck at Chelle and Jase's and I was in a strange mood. We played Betrayal at the House on the Hill and I was sure we were all going to die until the betrayer made a fatal error. Thanks for that Jase! We were able to win then.
Sunday was my day of achievement:
Played on the dancemat after Seraph gave me a bunch more songs
Hemmed my fin pants, Lee's new jeans and my jeans skirt
Handwashed the two jerseys I'm taking to conference
Grocery shopping
scrapbooking.
Then we had dinner with Lee's family for Father's Day.
A great but full weekend. Last night we watched the pilot of Firefly again so I could see Kaylee's outfit. Her coveralls are sleeveless! WHY are her coveralls sleeveless???!!!??
