duckies

This morning I had a very vivid dream. The library had bought a class set of mini rubber duckies. I was taking them to a school to do a class visit thing, and trying to carry them all in my arms. They were cute as anything, but it's hard to hold on to thirty of the things and I eventually tracked down the baggie they'd come in for easy of carrying.

Sometimes the duckies turned into cartoon duckies so they could do cute expressions and move and stuff. The class visit I did invovled throwing handfuls of duckies under my car and getting the kids to tell me what shapes the landed duckies formed. For example, one landed partially on it's beak and the rear end standing up formed a kind of sharky shadow. After a while I became concerned because there was a lot of traffic on the road and I didn't want the duckies to get run over. I cut the class visit short and packed up the duckies.

One boy in the class wanted to keep a duckie and I said it was OK. The ducky turned cartoon and did the cutest little big eyes sad expression at me, wiggling it's bottom and meeping, but I still made it go with the boy. This seems contrary to what I'd do in real life, so that's interesting.

Not sure where that dream came from. I watched a marathon 5 episodes of Greg the Bunny last night which means I only have one to go and then Matt and Debbie can have their DVDs back. I had a meeting in town today which was very fun and nice.

I'm thinking about doing a lot of dedicated crafting over the weekend. If anyone wants to come over and do crafts at my house they are hereby invited. I'm thinking of a Spotlight mission on Saturday morning.

Wedding show on Sunday morning, w00t! I'll get free things for being The Bride. I quite want a tshirt that says "Bride" on it really big so I can wear it to this kind of thing and my sister doesn't have to keep saying it's not *her* getting married. Then later I can wear it and pretend to be Uma Thurman. Heh.

I don't feel stupid any more. I feel like duckies. Soft, fluffy duckies.
