Deck the Halls! It's nearly Christmas!
Tonight I get Inspectres which will be grand and fun. I have had a little cold since Friday. (I blame Svend, who sat next to me and shared the mic for singstar on Thursday night and then just as he was leaving, mentioned he was sick and possibly had a fever. How you feeling Sv?)
Decided not to try and make fudge again, as it was too traumatic and even though people said nice things about the fudge I remain suspicious of it. It's all gone now, the last crumbs flushed down the munchy-munch* in the kitchen.
Last night I made up some more gingerbread. I made ginger Boyz for my Gamer Boyz. Heee. Might have to make up some more dough actually, since I have promised some to Mum and Lee's Mum and I have less than a quarter of it left. Erp. Must buy more oranges and honey before I do that.
I just love the Christmas season. Plus it looks like being an incredible Christmas of togetherness because my parents are (probably) coming with us to see Lee's parents and eat crayfish. Oh yeah. Crayfish. So yay for that! Lee thinks it's a bit frightening but I think it's neatie.
On Sunday we saw the Lemony Snicket movie which I loved to bits and Lee found too Americanized. (Conveniently forgetting the fact that the books are written by an American, but whatever. I am soooo in love with Violet Baudelaire. Is that wrong of me?) The whole production was just so sumptuous and gorgeous that I just kinda sat back and went "Aaaaaaaah."
I had a good board game Sunday. I won Apples to Apples, In a Pickle and Absolute Balderdash, which just goes to show how awesome I am at spouting bullshit. Not just any bullshit though, believable bullshit. Balderdash is such a great game.
