Wow, I'm somehow surprised about how passionately everyone feels about the New Zealand flag. I can see how hard it's going to be to get it changed into something everyone can relate to.
Anyhoo, yesterday I saw Ella Enchanted. It was completely awesome. I love it to bits and already have plans to buy the DVD. Anne Hathaway is a very good actor, and they got a mini Chris O'Donnell lookalike to be the handsome prince. I loved the way he always wore leather pants. (He dressed a lot like Eavan...Hmmm...actually it was a very Changeling-esque movie.)
Also Cary Elwes was a fantastically evil bad guy like Svend said: "Where's the scenery? Let me chew it!" Awesome stuff. Although my dodgy mind went on bad tangents when he found out that he could make Ella do anything he wanted and they were alone in a room together and no one could see....Uhm, moving right along.....
Debz and Matt came over with the Extended Return of the King which was completely long and wonderful. Much like the other two EE's all the added bits were kinda essential to the story. Well, OK, the drinking game scene maybe not so much essential but it did make a later scene make more sense. Hee hee.
I thought I finished my Christmas shopping yesterday but I have to get something for my Nan still. Bums.
