Looks like the Day After Tomorrow wasn't far out at all. A New Zealand scientist is going to speak out at a convention about the dangers of global warming. We're all going to die.
Now I just need to hear about snow falling in Calcutta and then I'll expect Jake Gylenhaal to turn up at my library and persuade me to burn books. No, that's not a euphemism for anything, get your mind out of the gutter.
