Old dreams part 1

A few years ago I dreamed that I was a geeky, gawky teenage boy, who had to try and save the world from beautiful alien women.

They weren't really beautiful women, they had just taken on that form for the initial attack. I was a very poor hero. I had a bunch of friends including a black haired girl I was in love with, and we found out about the aliens just before they attacked.

I was in the Wadestown library when I was forced to fight them. At first I was far to scared, and hid under the table by the photocopier. Then I realised that someone had to fight, so I climbed up on the table and shouted something heroic, like "You'll never win, alien scum!" and tried to throw the photocopier at them. It's amazing that I picked it up at all, I guess it must have been the adrenalin. What isn't amazing is that I didn't manage to throw it, but dropped it instead, hitting no aliens.

The aliens laughed at me derisively and upturned the table I was standing on. I fell and was hurt and they left, unconcerned about any further threat from me. I spent the rest of the dream hiding on top of some cupboards hoping no one could see me, and praying I wouldn't die.
