Venusaur

Last night we watched some more of "The Awful Truth" second season. I haven't seen any first season, but the library only bouht the second on DVD. It is so hilariously wonderful.

My favourite epidsode was about Ficus plants running for congress. You can read about it here. The best bit about it was after Michael Moore cleared the first few hurdles in getting his Ficus campaign running, a whole bunch of other people in other parts of America started running ficuses too.

The idea being that the politicians running have been there for years, are uncontested and they don't achieve anything. Ficus plants are another choice, and they can't do worse than what's already there.

It made me want to vote for a ficus, but I think MMP means that we don't really need to run a ficus. We have enough choice.

>>Edited...

I feel stoopid. Why didn't I link to Michael Moore? Well, now I have. He's cool.
