Its been 7 months since my last blog.
The main reason was because my laptop died in November (just after I had brought new virus protection software!)
I had also just brought a new video camera and editing software (which I installed...silly silly....and then my video camera stopped working and then my disk drive broke and then my computer would not start at all...my laptop just died...ARGHHHHHHH) Anyway.....
I had some wondcerful highs and some dreadful lows.
The decision to come back to NZ was relatively easy.
My mums health and concerns on a personal front were enough to sway me.
It was hard to leave the gorgeous kids I taught, the friends I had made and the wonderful job.
But as they say....things happen for a reason.
I guess 3 years was enough, but its also a little frustrating that I feel Im only just grasping the language now that I have left. Im not sure whether to continue with my Japanese. Until I decide what to do with my life next it seems a waste of time unless I am going to use it in the foreseable future.
Im not sure I will return to Japan but I know the experiences I have had and the people I have met along the way will stay with me for a life time.
