That I've changed the validation fields on clockworkfish and Too Many Cooks. They now required a specific set of characters in order to submit a comment. The specific set is described in words just before the field. The idea is that spammers' software can scan the existing comments form and automatically pick out the details. This is now impossible.
I've been running it on clockworkfish this week, and it has worked a treat. So today Too Many Cooks, and next weekend anyone else who asks for it. (I'd recommend sending me an email or commenting on this post stating the sentence which describes the required set and the actual set so I can put something you like together).
Many happy wishes for the season.

I'll eventually get round to applying them to each blog by fiat (as it saves me despamming time and will give me a chance to start to make some improvements around here...)
