Opiate of the masses

That's this Friday's theme (and the last of those we came up with at the AGM).

Given the encouraging rates of participation, can I assume this experiment is a success and we should continue?

Suggestions for further themes welcome. If there are none, I'll just make them up as I go.

yes! the experiment is a success. I like Karen's idea of song lyrics too.... I can help with that. "Show me the things I've been missing" "Just a girl who can't say no" "God sometimes you just don't come through"

Yup a great success.
educational as well as fun to read other people's entries. And it's great to write about something that isn't immediate.

Some completely dandom topic ideas:
*favourite words
*Alternatives to horoscopes: devised fortune telling systems. Or just made up horoscopes.
*10 things I like about you/me/the world/...
*Dialogues with those that inspire us
....

totally unrelated, but, when I opened my email today there was a couple of emails saying they were security patches from M'soft & to install them... turns out they're from some other bod & are viruses:
