I got a poem accepted by JAAM!! My first ever proper publication. I think they even pay. Wow.

Oh, you little whippersnaper...
Back in the old days, when *I* was young, you had lock yourself up in a garret, burn your own paintings to keep warm in winter, get half-starved, toss and turn and convulse with REAL existential angst (not that wimpy pre-packaged pseudo existential angst like you young people have these days...), and work on and on for DECADES, totally unrecognised, and unappreciated. Then, after enough years of squalor, and poverty, and ridicule from the unwashed masses (and the arrogant, elite uni faculty...) , we had to keel over DEAD. And then, we had wait at least 50 years for everybody else to come to their senses and recognise our world-changing artistic genious.
Iiiiiiffff we were lucky!
