The best thing this summer so far: Working all day cleaning up the section and throwing away and recycling junk from the garage, and then getting into the swimming pool. Cool water on hot feet. Cool water on hat-hair head. Cool water just perfect.
Well, by having my major Christmas event on Christmas Eve (German-styles), I expect I've entered the Christmas festival proper earlier than anyone who will read this post. Consequently, I can say, I've had an awesome Christmas so far, and many thanks to all of you who have made this year a damn good one. I hope your festive season is awesome too. One of the hidden advantages of living in a windy city (I mean, a city which is chronically windy, windy *all* the time), is that the rare still days feel like holidays. This is because generally the experience of still air is only experienced in places other than the city you live in.
