I'm most curious about Don's recent marital difficulties.
I don't think I have a right to know about various public figure's private lives. If they and their spouse are miserable, I couldn't care less. There are very few things someone could do which are not illegal which I think are any of my business.
But I do think it is curious that Don thinks it is ok to cheat on his wife while he is a public figure. In particular, he must have known that if the affair did get out it would be a media frenzy. I'm also surprised that he seems to have expected pretty much his entire caucus and the press gallery to lie to cover for him. For *years*. Like by becoming leader he got have one free affair just because other National leaders have in the past.
I also think it is pure cowardice to send your wife out to talk to reporters who are following up on a story about you having an affair.
